The Rich History of Cibo
Tony Suglia was born in Italy. There, he learned the Old World family-style cooking at a young age. He used to be at his mother’s side, who was a baker by trade. Tony’s grandfather also hailed from the food industry, owning a flour mill. In his teenage years, he moved to America. He never lost his love for genuine, freshly made pasta with lip-smacking sauces. All the sauces are made from scratch.
On the other hand, Denise Suglia is a native of Ohio with Italian roots. Over a hundred years ago, one of her ancestors created a pasta-making machine. Today, a modern version of this creation is used at Cibo Pasta & Grille.
Tony and Denise, along with their five (5) daughters, established Cibo Pasta & Grille. It’s the family’s way to share their enthusiasm for fresh and delicious Italian food. The restaurant wants to offer casual and on-the-go dining. The term “cibo” is the Italian word for food. The name of the restaurant is catchy and hints that all meals will be prepared right in front of you.
Cibo Pasta & Grille offers distinct pasta and sauces. It is well-liked for its fast service as well as a perfect place to dine in and takeout. Catering services are also available. Cibo is an Italian market-to-go, especially when it comes to cheese, pasta sauces, olive oli, pizelles, and more. It is open for lunch and dinner six (6) days a week.
The menu features a heaping portion of homemade pasta, topped with your own pick of meat, cheese, vegetable and sauce. The whole wheat cavatelli and cavatelli are great. Also available in Cibo Pasta & Grille is a full line of Italian wine and beer.
For sauces, you can choose Alfredo, meat sauce, arrabbiata, creamy pesto, marinara with a touch of Alfredo, and volcano. Your meat and vegetable choices vary from marinated grilled chicken, homemade meatballs, salcciccia, peas or broccoli.
Grilled chicken salad and house salad are available. Margherita, Quattro Formaggi, Quattro Stagoni, Capricciosa and Prosciutto E Arugula are some of the few popular picks. Pizza in Cibo is available by Dine-in only.
